In this month’s newsletter, you can read about recent developments related to EUA’s work on the European Universities alliances, the tenth EU R&I framework programme, research assessment and academic careers – topics that will again be a big part of our activities in 2025.
Indeed, we have just announced the first in a new series of masterclass events as part of the ‘Staff development for learning and teaching at European universities’ (STAFF-DEV) project (application deadline: 7 March). Also in 2025, EUA’s Learning & Teaching Thematic Peer Groups will address three important facets of staff development. The call for participation in these is open until 17 January.
Looking forward to other events in 2025 as this year draws to a close, registrations for the 2025 EUA-CDE Thematic Workshop (16-17 January, Braga, Portugal) close on 2 January. For the 2025 European Learning & Teaching Forum (27-28 February, Cork, Ireland), you can still take advantage of early registration fees until 13 January.
